I’ve lived on south beach for many years and did not frequent this establishment because it was always unclean. I had heard that there were NEW owners so decided to give it a try for breakfast. I was Pleasantly Surprised!!! The new owner George is very hands on and made sure that I and my guests were warmly welcomed. The wait staff was on point and oh so accommodating. And the Best Part…breakfast was Delicious!!! The biscuits and gravy was fantastic and so was the eggs and corned beef hash. I am so happy to see this diner has a new owner with a great vision and future plans!!! I will definitely be making this my go to more often.

Amazing food, Amazing service; They Care with a capital C!!!4 scrambled, hollandaise, sautéed mushrooms, onions , & tomatoes , with medium rare burger, decaf coffee with real butter!!! So homemade, so delish!!!! I don't do bread ; but their bread is from an Artisan Bakery about an hour south.

I had a once in a lifetime experience at Dave's Diner. They were closed but let me in and fed me the absolutely best breakfast. The service was amazing, and the best customer service. George was so kind and made me feel so welcome. Spiro was also very nice. I will drive the hour just for that delicious food and service

Dave’s Diner is under new management. I never met the old management but the new owner, George, is fantastic. We visited twice for breakfast over the last few days. The omelets were wonderful. We ate at the counter and met George, the new owner. Customer service by George and his team was tremendous. It was a great experience and will definitely visit the next time I’m in the area.

The new owner George is great, it was our first time here since we’ve moved to the island and we felt very welcomed. This is a traditional griddle diner spot - the eggs, biscuits, and country fried steak were great! I didn’t try the pancakes but they looked really good too. Will be our new breakfast spot!

A welcome addition to the island. Very clean, owner is warm and welcoming. Food is great, made with high quality, fresh ingredients. Menu expanding to include dinner options soon. Planned renovations will make it even nicer. Reasonable prices.
